They are 100% cotton on one side, a side of Burlap from the Jute plant, and have 2 layers of Quilted Cotton inside, making them zero waste while being as absorbent as a typical sponge. Our sponges can either washed in the laundry with like items, or in the dishwasher, are plastic free and have a life span of over 1 year. Made in the USA.
