Did you know? Real soap is made with oils through a process called saponification. Synthetic detergents were fabricated when fat and oil shortages occurred during WWI and WWII. These synthetic detergent-based bars and cleaners aren't real soap, so they are sold under creative names such as beauty bars or cream bars.
